has been APPROVED by the Four Locals thru Jan 31, 2010.
Good of the Union:
The Next Construction Unit Meeting will be May 10, 2008.
The Tree trimmer unit meetings have been combined with the Construction
unit.
Nominations for
Local officers and Unit officers shall be accepted during this meeting.
Contractors Work Report
H
& M has 4 unity crews, 4 fitness crews, 6 dock crews on PGE
property and also a Sub-station job on the ”Klondike 3” Wind Mill
project outside of Wasco , Ore., and in North Powder,
Ore.
Hawkeye Construction Doing Pole Change out in McMinnville.
ILB has jobs for Pacific Power in Bend and Redmond, also
working Transmission in the Sisters area along with going to begin a
Trans. Job in Milton Freewater.
Loy Clark continuing
work on PGE property.
Potelco has
directional bore crews and street lights on PGE property, and working
outside of Redmond on “Bersada Ranch” along with a Dock Crew on CEC
property, also to begin a Re-Conductor job near Powell Butte.
DJ’s underground subdivision work along with some ”Over Head”
continues for Clark County.
Christenson Electric Has some J/L’s and Wireman working for BPA in
Washington and Oregon.
Mt Power
has Dock crews for Pacific Power in Bend, and Hood River, and dock crews
for CEC in Redmond, also a Fault crew on P.G.E. property. Also, Mt.
Power has been awarded the contract on Pacific Power property.
Tice
has a substation
job in, Arlington, Rufus, and in Clark County and to begin work at the
Dalles Dam to replace disconnect switches and surge arrestors.
Wilson Construction Has
a 230 KV Trans. Job in Wasco Oregon.
Asplundh Tree
has all work on PGE property, and crews working for Clark County, 1 crew
working for Skamania, and 1 crew for Columbia River PUD.
Trees Inc has
work on Pacific Power property, 1 crew for West Oregon Electric, along with work
at Umatilla Co-Op.
D
& H Flagging has workers on PGE property in Salem and Western.
Aztec Electric Nothing
to report at this time.
PAR Working
on Wind Farm in Wasco Ore. and in Goldendale Wash..
MAGNUM Working on Clark County PUD.
NW Traffic Is
currently
performing work on Clark PUD property, Columbia River PUD and for P.G.E.
Michaels Power Working
on Wasco Electric property, and have completed Transmission work (230
KV) outside of Goldendale Wash., also working Transmission Clatskanie
PUD property.
Mass Electric
Has some “Street
car” Trolley work in Portland, and to begin the Light rail from
Clackamas Town Center to Gateway. Mass has started the structure
placement on the light rail extension. We haven’t received any calls for
Journeyman or Operators yet.
Rosendin Electric
Has two wind Farm
jobs, one in Wasco (Klondike 3) and another in Goldendale Wash.( Goodnoe).
