Great day for Montana workers! Twenty-nine Republican representatives voted this morning with the thirty-three Democrat representatives to kill the Right-to-Work bill, HB 251 by a 62-38 vote! A great big "Thank You" to the 62 representatives who stood up for Montana workers, and against the out of state interests of the National Right to Work Committee and the Americans for Prosperity.

FRA - Emergency Order Requiring Face Mask Use in Railroad Operations

Effective immediately, the Federal Railroad Administration has issued an Emergency order temporarily implementing a mask requirement for all freight and passenger railroad employees in all crafts. This EO in accordance with Center of Disease Control guidelines. Until this deadly pandemic is over masks will be an FRA required part of your PPE.

Members, Just FYI, the $6.00 charge on your paycheck dated 2/26/21 is for the Local 266 death benefit. We have had 6 members/retirees pass. In the Death Benefit program each member donates $1.00 to the deceased member's beneficiary. In the old system, your death benefit charges, dues, and merchandise purchases were all lumped into one charge on your paycheck.

On Tuesday, February 23rd Business Agent Trey McCutcheon was sent to procure the 21 pallets of water from Louisville’s Kroger Distribution Center, home to hundreds of Teamsters Local 89 members at Zenith Logistics and Transervice.
